Eligibility
Nationality
Aspirants must be Indian citizens with a valid residence permit.
Age limit
The age range for general candidates is 18 to 28 years, and reserved candidates will be shortlisted based on age relaxation as per government rules.
Qualification
12th passed out candidates can join Clerk Exam with minimum 60% with computer diploma. And reserved category will have relaxation in marks – 55% for OBC and near at 50% for SC/ST category.
SELECTION PROCESS –
Selection
Only the marks obtained in the Main Examination (Phase-II) will be added to the marks obtained in the GD & Interview (Phase-III) for the preparation of the final merit list, not the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I). Candidates must pass both Phases II and III separately. Candidates' marks in the Written Test (out of 250) are converted to out of 75, and their marks in the Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is determined by adding the converted marks from the Written Test and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category. The candidates with the highest merit ranking in each category will be chosen. The results of the candidates who qualified for the GD and Interview, as well as the list of candidates who were ultimately selected, will be made available on the Bank's website.
SBI PO Selection Process
- The questions will be of the objective/multiple choice variety.
- Each question would have 4-5 options, one of which would be correct.
- To receive the marks assigned for each question, the candidate must mark the correct response.
The question paper is divided into five sections.
- General Awareness
- General English
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
- Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.
Except for the English section, all questions will be in Hindi and English.
Each section would be of 40 marks.
Total marks in the exam are 200.
The candidate is given 135 minutes to complete the questions.
The candidate may navigate between questions and sections as many times as he desires.
For each incorrect answer, one-quarter of a point will be deducted.
Each correct answer will be worth one point.
